Tips for your Poodle Puppy Care.
If you are considering adding a pup to your life "caring for puppies" is the most important task for the responsible owner.
Puppies need a lot of attention and the most important thing you can do for your puppy is to spend a lot of time with her/his.
As a responsible pet owner, be sure to schedule regular visits with your veterinarian that include check-ups and vaccinations against dangerous viruses.
Basic obedience training is a great way to establish good behavior with puppies, and also gives you an opportunity to bond with your new puppy.
Learning commands such as “Sit,” “Stay,” and “Come” will help you and your puppy feel comfortable going out and being social, or just having good behavior when company comes to visit.
Feeding- All poodle puppies should be fed a minimum of 3 times daily and water should be available 24 hours a Day. When your are feeding your cute puppy, leave the food out 30 minutes, then take it away. Leaving food out all day makes it much harder to house train our puppy.
You should feed and caring for puppies nutritious the food that is developed with a puppy’s nutritional needs in mind.
Vaccinations - Until all booster vaccination are completes, keep your puppy away from other animals. Vaccinations should be given at 6,8,10,12,14,16,20 an 24 weeks age.
Heartworm Preventive- Heartworm disease is transmitted by mosquitoes and it is important to keep your poodle puppy on earthworm preventive Year round. (This is for VERY IMPORTANT Areas where mosquitoes round all year long , per example Florida State in USA )
Bathing- Frequent bathing can dry out your puppy’s coat.
I recommend using a mild, moisturizing shampoo to help prevent this.
Ear Cleaning- Proper ear cleaning done on a regular basis will help prevent ear infections.
Ask you Veterinarian Doctor or Technician how to clean your poodle puppy’s ears.
Dental Care- It is very important to take care of your puppy’s oral health.I recommended brushing of your poodle puppy’s teeth daily.
