Dogs Age Years- Versus- Human Years
Poodle Age Years
It was always thought for a long time that a dogs age in one year would equal seven years of a human's life. And we know that now not to be true.
The element that most affects the rate to a Poodle Age is the weight of the dog. Therefore we will take a look at how each sized Poodle and what changes to expect as your lovably poodle puppy enters and grows each phase of his life.
When determining a dogs age in human years, remember that larger breeds age faster than smaller breeds.
Toy, Miniature and Standard Poodles will age differently.
This was a general statement to make a very generalized estimate of how dogs of all breeds age.
It's pretty well known that a one year old dog of any size is going to be about fifteen years of age in human years.
A two year old dog is going to be about twenty-four and so on.
When you reach about your sixth in a small, medium or large breed dog, that's when they diverge and larger breed dogs start accumulating years faster.
There are lots of charts that are helpful. Many food companies, big food companies have developed charts on their online sites that you can look at to determine exactly or roughly how old your dog age is in human years.
Unfortunately, it's not very accurate because dogs mature much more quickly than humans do. Dogs have shorter childhoods and longer adulthood.
Poodle Dogs start walking at three weeks and reach physical maturity at 18 months. If we use the seven-for-one rule that would be the same as a human toddler walking at five months or a human child reaching physical maturity by age 11.
Also, while a 15-year-old dog would be considered the equivalent of a 105-year-old person, many more dogs live to be 15 than humans live to be 105.
A dog's lifespan is only a fraction of the average human's lifespan, which means that a dogs age more quickly in the same amount of time.
Like nearly every animal, dogs mature at a different speed. Most dogs die at, say, 10-15 years old (of old age). If you have a 13 year old dog that died of old age, it's not the same as a 13 year old human passing of old age. In dogs, a young adolescent (usually about 15 years in human years) is about 1 year old. A 1 year old human isn't even a preteen! There for, because of these reason, people needed an easier way to calculate dogs' ages.
No one formula for a poodle dogs age to human age conversion is scientifically agreed, although within fairly close limits they show great similarities. As per my research this is the most accurate chart that I find for you.
